A ride with a sea view!

Summer is now near. The temperature starts to rise, the days are longer, the sun is hotter.

This will be a different summer from the others: rules and restrictions will have to be respected.

But, for those who don't want to lock themselves inside plexiglass boxes on the seashore, there is a beautiful solution that will allow us to enjoy the sea breeze while whizzing around on our e-bike among breathtaking landscapes.

Here, then, are 5 beautiful cycle routes that will allow you to enjoy a ride with a sea view!

The Versilia cycle path.

Dedicated to the champion Fausto Coppi, this protected cycle path extends for 28 km from Viareggio to Marina di Massa. A characterizing element of this route is the exotic vegetation, located between the cycle path and the sea. The only optional deviation is the climb that leads to Pietrasanta which will take you a few kilometers inland.

It is the most seaside cycle route in Italy and completely overlooks the sea.

A dip between one ride and another is almost a must!

Eastern Riviera, Liguria.

A suggestive cycle path with breathtaking views, 3 km long, developed along an old railway complete with tunnels. Reachable from both Levanto and Framura, this cycle path, although short, stands out for the variety of landscape it offers.

The tunnels you will pass through are completely restored and illuminated, and there are also openings and balconies overlooking the most beautiful views of the route.

An essential item that you must have with you? The camera!

From the mouth of the Musone to the foot of the Conero

This itinerary starts from the Ponte sul Musone and runs through the Batelico Torrent valley.

Before descending towards Sirolo and Numana, it is a must to visit the underground caves of Camerano, a real spectacle!

The Riviera dei Fiori cycle path

Wonderful route that starts on the coastal route of the old railway between Ospedaletti and San Lorenzo al Mare.

The FS Genoa-Ventimiglia railway line, decommissioned in 2001, has been reclaimed and transformed into this splendid 20 km cycle path.

You will pass through small villages and coast a typical landscape of the Mediterranean coast!

From Alghero to Capocaccia

This beautiful Sardinian itinerary starts from the ancient Portal del Mar, passing through the Viale Burruni cycle path with its wonderful views of the Calich Lagoon, a green oasis equipped with picnic areas and nature trails. Continuing along the route, near the hamlet of Fertilia, you then cross a cycle-pedestrian bridge which offers an incredible view of a Roman-era bridge. The cycle path then continues along a series of dwarf palm trees, towards the landing at Capo Caccia.

What to say?

All you have to do is put your camera and costume in your backpack, prepare your helmet and water bottle and choose the stage you like best!
