Parma: incentives for the purchase of e-bikes and cargo.

222 thousand euros have been allocated to promote electric mobility, which will be provided through Infomobility.

The choice of encourage sustainable mobility It is part of the overall strategy of the Administration to reduce the use of private vehicles, increase both public and private collective transport and cycle-pedestrian mobility, increase the safety of citizens and the liveability of neighborhoods thanks to an increasingly widespread network of cycle paths and aiming for 30 zones.

The disbursement of contributions is intended only for natural persons resident in the Municipality of Parma.

Any recipient can request only one incentive during the calendar year and must undertake to keep the purchased vehicle for a period of at least two years from purchase, for circulation within the city. 

The incentive will be 300 euros for the purchase of one pedal-assisted bicycle and 500 euros for the purchase of one cargo bikes pedal assisted.

In any case, the resources granted to the beneficiaries cannot exceed 50% of the expense incurred for the purchase of the vehicle alone and the contributions will be paid until the fund is exhausted.

Furthermore, the contributions paid cannot be cumulated with further state benefits or incentives provided by other bodies or administrations on the same object and the incentives will be paid by April.

Interested parties will be able to request the incentive starting from the start date of the initiative until the available fund is exhausted and no later than 16 January 2024 for bikes and cargo bikes purchased.
