The battery will be there CompactTube of 400 Wh, but it will also be possible to use the other cuts available in the Bosch catalog (but in the event that the bike manufacturer has adapted the frame design). Furthermore, it will be possible to extend the battery with the 250 Wh PowerMore and 1.6 kg weight, the size of a water bottle.
The Sprint mode it is one of the new features of the engine and is able to optimize assistance based on cadence, a mode designed for gravel and road e-bikes.
But the news from Bosch doesn't stop there.
For 2024, in fact, Bosch is expanding the range of the smart system and making the most of its digital potential.
From this summer also the Drive Unit Active Line, suitable for traveling around the city, e Active Line Plus, perfect for longer tours, will be available in the intelligent system, so far only used on e-mtb.
In the future, the batteries of the intelligent system will also gradually become Dual Battery, therefore combinable with each other to obtain greater autonomy and greater flexibility.
Another new feature concerns the control unit and displays.
The Purion 200, a compact control unit that also acts as a color display.
High resolution and integrated external light sensor, the Purion 200 is able to give you important information about the percentage of charge status, assistance mode, time and mileage, information that is readable even in variable light conditions.
Furthermore, it can be combined with a second display if necessary.
A further novelty is in Kiox 500: 2.8 inch, larger color display than the Kiox 300.
The voice instructions that notify the rider of route deviations or reaching the destination are useful.
