The new collection of Moustache e-bike is coming! Announced in mid-2019, the season 9 of pedal-assisted bicycles will follow in the footsteps of innovation proposed by Bosch. Read on to find out the new features introduced by the French giant.
Friday 28
The new ebikes from the Friday 28 range are a complete reinterpretation of the classic collection: frame in hydroformed aluminum 6061 and carbon fork now also in size XL. As for the engine, Mustache integrated the battery in hidden mode and turned it upside down to lower the center of gravity of the pedal-assisted bike.
The result is an e-bike with an elegant design and a stronger dynamic performance.
The Mustache 28.3 range has also introduced the new luggage rack with QL3 attachment, which allows you to hang the Ortlieb side bags simply and comfortably thanks to Quick-Lock. The Mustache 28.5 range introduced the Bosch smartphone hub, which allows you to connect the bike to a smartphone via the Cobi system. It also introduced the new Bosch Performance motor, which allows you to tackle steeper slopes.
Friday 27 FS
In 2020, Mustache decided to abandon the old power system in favor of the new battery Bosch PowerTube (625 Wh version on the FS7 model), thanks to the new frame with an innovative design. The XL size is now also available for this line.
Samedi 28
As for Friday FS, the design of this range has also been refined and redesigned to integrate Powertube ebike batteries.
A new version with a lower upper tube is now available to allow greater accessibility. Only line 28.1 remains faithful to season 8, but it also has a Active engine to offer an entry-level option at a lower price (below € 2000).
The XL size is now also available for this line.
Samedi 27 Xroad
As well as the other elements of this new collection, the Xroad line has also introduced a new frame, designed to accommodate the new Bosch PowerTube batteries. Xroads 2, 3 and 5 are now integrated with a Wave frame easier to ride, while for Samedi 28.1 Mustache has maintained the current Xroad 1 and introduced an Active Plus engine to offer an entry option at a lower price.
All models, with the exception of Open frames, offer the XL size option.
Tomorrow 29
A new addition to the vast choice of ebikes offered by Mustache is the new range of gravel electric bikes.
The characteristics of these ebikes are different from the previous ones: the rear base is longer, the forks allow the passage of larger tires, the hook is much more flared at the bottom to maintain control during descents on rough roads.
Dimanche 29 have specific components for gravel, thanks to the new transmission Shimano GRX, which in particular limits the risk of derailment.
