The new arrival at Focus is a great combination of lightness, performance and easy handling.
It's about a Full suspension eMTB extremely light: just think that for the top of the range model, the declared weight is only 17.9 kg.
The company defines it as a light All-Mountain eMTB, thanks above all to the full carbon frame and the Fazua Ride 60 drive unit.
The Jam2 SL has been designed paying great attention to every element of the frame, optimizing the cross-section of the horizontal tube and playing on ideal stiffness and design ratios, also preferring a low stand-over to guarantee easy handling.
This full-suspension eMTB has 160/150 mm travel, therefore ideal for lovers ofAll Mountain.
The motor and battery have been integrated inside, while all the cables pass internally to the stem and the headset, giving the new Jam2 a cleaner and more elegant appearance.
To make the ebike so light, the technicians opted for a central motor Fazua Ride 60 2022, characterized by a low weight, a power of 450 W and a maximum torque of 60 Nm.
When the slopes become challenging, the Boost function comes into play, still offering a natural and silent ride.
The system also offers three different pedaling supports which can still be customized via the Fazua app.
As regards the battery, however, it is integrated and removable and has a capacity of 430 Wh, which can be increased by adding a 210 Wh range extender.
It is offered in four sizes (S, M, L and XL) and four setups with different assembly and retail prices.
In fact, we move from the Focus Jam2 SL 9.0 2023, the top of the range model offered at 11,499 euros (VAT included), to the "cheaper" model, the Jam2 SL 8.7 2023 which has a list price of 6,199 euros (VAT included).
