Le Marche, a region waiting to be discovered!

From the mountains to the sea, enriched by caves, lakes and waterfalls.

Enchanting coasts, breathtaking landscapes and uncontaminated nature.

In a word? The Marches.

A place complete with everything, with various cycling itineraries and a unique welcome.

Marche Outdoor is a project that aims to tell the story of the Marche Region and is characterized by the enhancement of secondary roads and its inclusive nature made up of varied routes that are wonderful to travel on your e-bike.

The aim is to let the cycle tourist savour the emotions, landscapes, typical foods, art and culture of the territory through more than 20 continuously updated routes that develop for over 2,000 kilometres that cross 130 municipalities.

Marche Outdoor is a comprehensive project, composed on one hand of thematic routes created by expert cycling guides, on the other of the reporting of accommodation facilities and services for cycling enthusiasts.

Michele Pistoletto, a great Italian artist, sculptor and poet, inspired the first 6 proposed itineraries, called “Marche Rebirth”, which are inspired, in their structure, by the philosophy of the Third Paradise, theorized by Pistoletto and represented by three concentric rings and by the invitation he launched to “Rebirth” through art.

The landscapes, arts, traditions, crafts and knowledge of the area are transformed into a great work of art in which tourists can immerse themselves by practicing the sport of their heart, while respecting the environment.

The first routes concern: Pesaro, Ancora, Macerata, Fermo, Ascoli and the Sibiliini Mountains, the latter particularly hard and challenging due to the differences in altitude to be overcome, but perhaps for this very reason particularly fascinating.

86 km long with a maximum altitude of 1444 m and a difference in altitude of 1907 m, the first part of the Monti Sibillini route is hilly, suddenly changing from the 38th kilometre to mountainous with challenging hairpin bends that go up to Fiastra.

From here you climb further up to Bolognola and, arriving at Pintura, you can admire the northern part of the Sibillini Mountains, with breathtaking landscapes. You continue on the route up to the Valico della Maddalena with the panoramic balcony above all the Marche from which it is forbidden not to take photos!

From here the descent, up to Sarnano.

A difficult route, not suitable for everyone but full of views that will fill your eyes with pure wonder!
