FUTA: the new arrival at Ducati

Thok's collaboration with the famous Borgo Panigale manufacturer continues in style and gives life to the first Ducati eRoad: the FUTA.

This innovation takes its name from the Futa Pass, a road that crosses the Apennines connecting Bologna to Florence, known and appreciated by many Ducatisti.

High-performance, light and reactive, the new Futa is characterized by a monocoque carbon fiber frame and geometries designed to guarantee smoothness and speed.

The motor, placed on the rear hub, is the FSA System HM 1.0 with 250 W and 42 Nm of torque, equipped with 5 levels of assistance that can be selected via the Garmin computer placed on the handlebars.

The FSA app, available for iOS and Android devices, allows the cyclist to quickly and intuitively view riding statistics, system status, remaining battery life and charge status.

Traveling long distances with this new eRoad is even easier: equipped with a 250Wh battery integrated into the down tube, it is possible to add a 250Wh range extender for more autonomy.

Finally, the complete standard FSA K-Force WE group includes a very smooth 2x12-speed wireless electronic shifter, high-performance 160 mm disc brakes with adjustable UD carbon interchangeable levers and a crankset with carbon cranks. The wheels are Vision AGX30 with carbon rims and are fitted with 35mm Pirelli Cinturato Velo TLR tyres.

FUTA is also available in Limited Edition, with only 50 examples.

This version features a Campagnolo Super Records EPS electronic groupset, Vision Metron 40 wheels with carbon rims and Vision Metron carbon fiber handlebars with integrated stem and cables.

All in 11.5 kg of eRoad.

In addition to the Futa, Ducati also updated the MIG-S and presented the TK01RR Limited Edition.

We find improved aesthetics for the MIG-S, in addition to the Shimano EP8 motor and updated components.

In fact, it features a RockShox 35RC fork and RockShox SuperDeluxe shock absorber, a new 12-speed SRAM transmission, 4-piston SRAM Guide T brakes and 29" THOK e-plus wheels with Pirelli Scorpion Enduro S tires on the front and 27.5" with Pirelli Scorpion EMTB-S rear tires.

The TK-01RR limited edition, however, is enriched by more advanced components: double Öhlins DH38 air fork with a motorcycle feel (180 mm travel) and Öhlins spring shock absorber with TTX technology (170 mm travel), Shimano Di rear electronic gear shifter XT 11 speed, Magura MT7 brakes and Crankbrothers Synthesys mullet wheels.

«The Ducati E-Bikes project was born in 2019 and immediately set itself the objective of offering pedal-assisted bicycles with which to live unique and memorable experiences. The updates to existing models and the presentation of the new Ducati Futa give a further push in this direction, creating an even more complete and high-performance range of e-bikes for 2022. In particular, the inclusion of the Futa allows us to welcome new enthusiasts of this world into our family." reported Giorgio Favaretto, head of Ducati e-bikes business.
