Successes continue for Fantic, the Italian company specializing in high-performance eMtb.
Founded in 1968, the company has a past, and a present, in the world of motorcycles, therefore it could only create super high-performance eMTBs capable of giving strong emotions.
The continuously growing numbers only highlight how the market strategy implemented by Fantic is a winning one: the Italian company, in fact, has set up a new headquarters where the bikes are exclusively assembled.
“We are really very satisfied – reported the CEO Mariano Roman – of how Fantic Motor is growing exponentially, not only in terms of offering motorcycle, eBikes and sustainable mobility solutions, but also in terms of turnover in all sectors. The acquisition of Motori Minarelli at the beginning of the year was another very important move in the national and international scenario, which further contributed to the acquisition of value and market shares for our Group. In the first half of 2021, a record growth in turnover was recorded of + 3001 TP1 compared to the same period of 2020 and of + 215 % compared to 2019. A result that went well beyond all expectations, highlighting and rewarding not only the liveliness of Fantic and its ability to innovate, but also the soundness of strategic choices and investments".
The first half of 2021 saw the Group's consolidated net revenues amounting to 70.8 million euros. Consolidated Ebitda is 9.6 million euros (Ebitda margin equal to 13.5%). Fantic achieved net revenues of 22.6 million euros in the first half of 2019 and 17.7 million euros in the first half of 2020.
A great growth that involved all areas of the company and which saw the enduro/motard range and Caballero on motorbikes as protagonists and the trail and enduro segment on the eBikes range.
The new entries are also highlighted, with great results from the trail carbon eBikes line and the offroad Racing range, driven by exceptional sporting performances (2021 MX Junior 125 World Champion, leading the EMX 125 and 250 European Championship, second place in the World Enduro E1 and in the first 3 places at the Enduro 125 Youth World Championship).
In addition to the ever-growing national market, the driving force is also the international one driven by Germany (+ 330% on 2019) and Switzerland (+ 470%) for motorbikes, while for ebikes Spain (+ 710%) and the United States ( + 460%). Results achieved thanks to the strengthening of the Fantic sales network, which today is present in 40 countries for a total of 800 points of sale worldwide. In the coming months we will also see Fantic once again playing a leading role with the presentations of the new 2022 products on the motorcycle, eBikes and eMobility front.
