Ducati presented its new E-Bike models for the year 2021, created in collaboration with the very Italian Thok.
Three models, two MTBs and a City.
But let's look at them together:
TK-01RR
The new e-Enduro, perfect for the most demanding MTB lovers, they guarantee great performance also thanks to the Öhlins suspension system, the new engine unit Shimano EP8 and Pirelli Scorpion E-Mtb tires
The new engine weighs 2.6 kg and has already earned the title of the lightest and most compact engine, with a maximum torque of 85 Nm.
Paired with the brand new application Shimano E-tube Project, the EP8 system allows multiple degrees of customization, allowing maximum torque, acceleration and assistance timing to be varied in real time.
The new aluminum frame also includes a verticalized down tube that will house an integrated 630 Wh Shimano battery. Great autonomy, therefore, without sacrificing manageability.
The geometries of the new TK-01RR are oriented towards Enduro use and the bike will be set up with high-end components, with 12-speed transmission and Shimano XT brakes.
The new 180 mm Öhlins RXF 38 fork will ensure riding precision and a wide range of customization options.
Finally, the 170 mm rear suspension with Öhlins TTX shock absorber will offer excellent progressivity downhill without penalizing rideability.
MIG-S
A All Mountain MTB, with brand new geometries, engine Shimano Steps E8000 and a new Shimano battery: perfect for those looking for an agile, high-performance vehicle that guarantees safety and great fun.
The new Shimano battery will have 26% more energy than the previous version and will be positioned below the down tube, in order to improve the maneuverability of the e-bike.
The design of the hydroformed aluminum frame will be characterized by graphics created by Aldo Druidi's D-Perf and, with its 150 mm of front travel and 140 mm at the rear, the MIG-S will be a great ally for every trail and route.
Assembled with very large components, the new All Mountain from Ducati will have the Marzocchi Bomber Z2 fork, Fox Float TPS shock absorber, Sram Guide T 4-piston brakes, Thol e-plus rims measuring 29" at the front and 27.5" at the rear, with Pirelli Scorpion E-Mtb “S” tires and 12-speed transmission.
E-SCRAMBLER
A versatile e-bike, perfect for off road but also designed for city.
A perfect vehicle for getting around city traffic and exploring landscapes that host more rough terrain, this e-bike will have an aluminum frame and very high quality components.
The 250 Watt Shimano E7000 engine with 504 Wh battery will allow this model an important autonomy so that it is possible to travel every route in total safety.
The e-Scrambler will feature an 11-speed Sram NX gearbox, 4-piston Sram brakes and a range of essential accessories for everyday life and cycle touring.
Last gem: telescopic seat post, perfect for everyday use.
