Castelvetro di Modena is “Village of villages” for l’Emilia-Romagna

The Modenese village represented the Emilia Romagna region in the broadcast “borgo dei borghi” aired on Sunday 11 February on Rai 3.

This competition was created to raise awareness of the many Italian wonders and encourage tourists to discover them.

The wonderful Castelvetro has told its story through views, history, culture and, obviously, food and wine traditions.

In fact, the village is home to some of the most renowned excellences of the area, including the vineyards where Grasparossa is born and some of the oldest vinegar factories.
