Bosch Performance Line CX Race Limited Edition: the engine designed for competitions

The new Bosch engine dedicated to the eMTB world takes competitiveness to a higher level.

The new "Race" mode allows an explosion of power when exiting corners and maximum acceleration and driving speed.

Although power and torque remain unchanged within the limits of road regulations, the power band, engine responsiveness and reaction times to inputs have been modified resulting in the engine delivering immediate power, rapid acceleration and direct control of the “extended boost” function, which provides extra boost.

This function responds to the pressure applied to the pedals by delivering much higher power for a longer period, allowing the e-bike to overcome the obstacle more easily.

Comparing the Turbo mode, which provides the 350% of pedaling assistance, of the Performance Line Cs, the new Race mode provides a + 400%, which means multiplying the force exerted by the e-rider on the pedals by 4.

The design of the engine has also changed: although the casing is the same it is now gray in color and weighs 2.7 grams, therefore 200 grams lighter than the Performance line CX.

The new engine is therefore perfect for eMTB professionals and ambitious amateur athletes!
