Bologna will host the 2023 Cycle Tourism Fair

After the great success of the first edition held in Milan and which involved more than 15,000 visitors, the Cycle Tourism Fair changes city.

Will be held Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd April in Bologna, in the DumBo exhibition space, an area of over 40,000 square meters and 20 minutes from the central station.

The Cycle Tourism Fair is the event entirely dedicated to those looking for inspiration, itineraries and experiences to have for an adventure on two wheels.

This will be the perfect opportunity to offer an overview of cycle tourism, dedicated to families, adventurous people or sports people who want to live a unique experience.

The other novelty of the 2023 edition is that the event, in addition to being dedicated to tourist destinations and operators, will also be open to manufacturers of cycle tourism accessories.

We are happy that the second edition of the Cycle Tourism Fair is being held in Emilia Romagna because it is a region that has invested a lot in the development of bicycle tourism and, in particular, Bologna is a city that has welcomed us with open arms and has always dedicated special attention to active mobility” he reported Pinar Pinzuti, director of the Cycle Tourism Fair and member of the Eurovelo board.

“Cycle tourism is also growing more and more in Italy but it is often foreign operators who take advantage of it, while it is important that a local market of services dedicated to cycle tourists develops: for this reason we are honored to host the Cycle Tourism Fair which from Milan lands in Bologna, where there is a lot of interest and the area has strong potential. With the 1,000 km of the Bicipolitana, the Metropolitan City of Bologna is heavily investing in this small and large revolution: from disposable tourism to slow tourism, which can be done all year round. To feel really good and in harmony with what surrounds us" he finally declared Simona Larghetti, City Councilor of Bologna with responsibility for Cycling Mobility.
