“Blessed are the last who know how to enjoy life”.
This is the perfect motto for the event dedicated to slowness and knowing how to enjoy the beauty of non-competitive cycling which will be held in Ferrara from 29 to 31 October 2021.
“For the Slow Cyclist Festival it is not a return - commented Guido Foddis, creator of the event – we were among the few to manage to plan the 2020 edition as well, zigzagging among the many branches that the pandemic continues to leave on our path. However, it is a return to "almost normality", or rather to the pleasure of being together with cycling champions and cyclists of all stripes. In our Festival the real protagonists are the cyclists excluded from long distances, competitions and competitive training. We already have a 95-year-old member who we will cuddle like a princess, because she best represents our mission: to put everyone on a pedal vehicle. Around her, Olympic and Paralympic champions, protagonists of civil society, artists, journalists and writers who came from all parts of Italy to celebrate the capital of the Republic of Bicycles, namely Ferrara”.
Films and docu-films will be screened, there will be interventions by experts from the world of cycle tourism and ecology, sport and research and, obviously, cycle tourism experiences to discover the Ferrara area and its specialties.
In this regard we would like to point out the new point E-Bike Travel Ferrara, where you will find Nicolas, Ivan, Matilde and a brand new fleet of e-bikes that you can rent to enjoy your days in a slow and relaxing way!
