The fourth edition of the Italian Bike Festival in Rimini has ended, the Italian event dedicated to the world of the bike industry which hosted over 400 producers in an area of 40,000 square meters in the Fellini park.
An unprecedented edition, which recorded more than 30,000 registered visitors for a total attendance exceeding 40,000.
“Despite the obligation to register and show the Green Pass at the entrance, our audience did not abandon us, giving us an unforgettable edition of the Festival – commented one of the organizers – Our thanks go first and foremost to them, who continue to show us infinite affection and make the event unique. All this would not be possible without them and without the support of local companies and institutions. The Municipality of Rimini, APT Servizi Emilia Romagna and Visit Romagna believed in the Italian Bike Festival when it was just a dream, an idea, and today they experience with us the extraordinary evolution that the event has had in just four editions.”
Over 400 cyclists participated in the second edition of the Malatestiana while 100 took part in the Cargo Bike Revolution, to raise awareness of the use of this vehicle.
There were also many guests, such as Mario Cipollini, Omar Di Felice, Marco Aurelio Fontana, Justine Mattera, Katia Aere and many other champions.
There were several innovations such as Kapoho grinder 7972 by KTM with Bosch Performance Line CX Smart System engine and the new 750 Wh battery, the Haibike Nduro7 with the new Yamaha PW-X3 engine with 85 Nm torque and 750 Wh battery, the E-Rion EN Pro of Ghost, with aluminum alloy frame, Bosch Performance Line CX Smart System motor, 750 W battery and Fox suspension with 170 mm 38 fork or the Whistle with the new B-Rush which features a full carbon frame.
In addition to the e-bike world, there have been many innovations related to components.
Bosch, in fact, has renewed its engines with the new driving mode Bosch Tour+, which offers cyclists dynamic and continuous support depending on effort and strength, eliminating the need to manually change assistance modes while pedaling.
Curiosities also from the world of accessories and spare parts, such as Tannus Armor Tubeless, a new insert that protects the rim but does not change the driving feeling because it is positioned between two air cushions, the new discs Galfer, with a particular design, studied for better heat dissipation or, again, the new Gravity by Abus, the Airdrop MIPS helmet that is super protective but also ultra light.
Furthermore, at the Off Road Arena ePowered by Bosch eBike System, a "school camp" has been set up dedicated to anyone who wants to try doing parabolic turns, small jumps and obstacles.
“Of course it doesn't end there – conclude the organizers – we will in fact start working immediately on the next edition of the Festival. We will try to improve ourselves even more and analyze all the feedback received from the public and companies. The appointment with the Italian Bike Festival is for 2022, always in Rimini, always at the Fellini Park in Rimini, from 9 to 11 September"
