As we have said many times, the e-bike is the best way to discover the area as two wheels allow you to find small corners of paradise that are impossible to notice on board a car.
The e-bike also allows you to tackle paths and climbs more agilely and with less effort than a traditional MTB.
But what are the best itineraries to tackle on an e-bike?
Let's look at some together!
- Aosta Valley – secret Valtournenche
One of the most beautiful routes to travel by e-bike is certainly the one that leads to the discovery of Valtournenche. In this wonderful place, nature is the true protagonist: you cycle through chestnut woods, fields, mountain villages and ancient mills, all under the majestic presence of the Matterhorn. By then loading the bike on the cable car it is possible to reach Chamois, one of the pearls of the Alps.
- Lake Tovel – Trentino Alto Adige
The route that leads from Tassullo to Lake Tovel, a famous route in the Brenta Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Lake Tovel is surrounded by a beautiful coniferous forest and rich in wildlife. The peculiarity of this lake is the color of its waters: until 1964, thanks to a natural phenomenon that made it famous throughout the world, the waters of the lake were vermilion red. The phenomenon then gradually decreased until it disappeared completely in the 1980s.
- The 4 rivers in Abruzzo
Starting from the sources of the Pescara River you arrive at the Gole di San Venanzio along the riverside, stopping in Raiano and passing by the Ermo di San Venanzio and Vittorito, then descending to the sources of the Pescara River. On this journey you will touch four Abruzzo rivers: Aterno, Saggittario, Pescara and Giardino.
- Chianti – Tuscany
Between the provinces of Florence, Siena and Arezzo, the wonderful Chianti hills rise. In this wonderful area of Italy, where the delicious DOCG Chianti red wine is born, it is possible to cycle for 82 km, between villages and cellars, in a truly enchanting landscape.
- Supramonte – Sardinia
Starting from the Funtana Bona forest barracks and passing through Monte novo San Giovanni, you will then touch the areas of Honeai, Sa Sinipida and the Arzane ramps, then entering the Supramonte limestone massif. Animals and nature will be the setting for this splendid circular route!
