TK01 R: Thok's new e-Enduro

Released on March 23, 2021, the TK01 R is the new super-equipped model of the Thok family.

The frame, in light aluminum alloy 66061 technically treated T4 T6, with hydroformed parts, CNC machining and integrated cables, like the TK01 already in the range, the geometry of the TK01 R has an elongated and downwards inclined top tube, head- tube tarped 1.8, low standover, 64.5° head angle and 75.5° tube angle.

In addition to the geometry, which follows the principles of TCG Plus, THOK Control Geometry Plus, the bike features high-end components.

Special attention was given to the suspension “because it is essential to feel at ease and have fun even when the routes become decidedly challenging”.

To give maximum riding precision, given by the stiffness and braking effectiveness, it was decided to fit a RockShox ZEB fork with 170mm travel and 38mm oversized stanchions.

For the rear cushioning, however, it was decided to go for the RockShox Super Deluxe Select +RT with Debonair Technology and 170 mm travel, lockable and capable of guaranteeing constant and reliable performance.

As for the motor, the TK01 R uses Shimano's EP8, one of the lightest motors on the market offering maximum torque of 85Nm.

The bike also relies on Shimano for brakes and gears: for the former, in fact, there are 4-piston SHIMANO XT brakes with 203 mm discs, while for the field a 12-speed SHIMANO XT is mounted which allows you to undertake different types of the route without worrying about slopes and differences in height.

Another feature that distinguishes it from all the others, and which makes it special, are the T-Wings and the “RedFireBlack” livery signed by Aldo Drudi.

Finally, another highlight are the differentiated wheels: 29" front/27.5" rear.

The bicycles can only be booked online and delivered to the nearest THOk point, the TK01 R is prepared specifically for each owner and delivered with a personalized frame with the name of the THOKer and will follow the setting parameters based on the type of riding.
